Gaia Pear Cider is available at Marché des saveurs du Québec and at the SAQ.

Gaia is a pear ice wine made from hand-picked pears that are crushed and cold-pressed. To avoid altering the flavour of perfectly ripe fruit, fallen pears are not used. The sugars are concentrated by the natural cold of Quebec winters, using a process known as cryoconcentration. This is followed by many months of low temperature fermentation to develop optimum flavour and bouquet.

Tasting notes
A clear ice wine with a beautiful deep golden colour. Its rich, fruity nose is complemented by hints of honey, nuts, cooked pears and candied apricots. Gaia’s delightfully delicate taste embodies a perfect balance of sugar, acidity and alcohol.

Gaia goes well with foie gras, goat and blue cheeses, fruit desserts, nuts, pastries and gingerbread. It should be served at a temperature between 10° and 12°C.
